Believers

Middle schoolers, for the most part. They’re between 10 and 13, and they’re starting to get a sense of who they are and who they want to be. The staff and volunteers who work with the Believers focus on making a personal connection and teaching self-determination, along with:

 

• Ongoing social-emotional learning support

• Volunteer opportunities

• Violence prevention and conflict resolution skills

• Career identity and readiness

 

By the Number

1. We have about 50 DREAAMers enrolled at the middle school level. 

2. They’re encouraged by about six staff members at every meeting.

3. Eight members traveled to Washington, D.C. this year.
