DREAAM is inviting you to partner with us in a truly impactful community initiative!
On August 6th, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, DREAAM will be hosting a with the goal of providing 500 pairs of brand-new shoes to kids and youth in the Champaign-Urbana area as they head back to school.
We are collecting new shoes, and hoping to raise $15,000 to help purchase the additional shoes that do not come from donations. Your support can make a huge difference!
You can get involved in two ways:
1. Donate New Shoes: Drop off brand-new pairs at either the Urbana Police Department (400 South Vine in Urbana) between 7:00 AM and 11:00 PM, or at the Bank of Springfield (1015 W Windsor Road in Champaign) from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We’re asking for shoe donations by July 31st.
2. Make a Monetary Donation: For every $100 donated, we can purchase three new pairs of shoes for kids in need. To give you an idea of impact:
◦ $100 = 3 pairs of shoes ◦ $200 = 6 pairs of shoes
◦ $300 = 9 pairs of shoes ◦ $400 = 12 pairs of shoes
◦ $500 = 15 pairs of shoes ◦ $1000 = 30 pairs of shoes
